Pertti Salminen who has been responsible for Paper Business Asia Pacific will support the transfer of duties in China and retire as planned in September 2013. Kim has been working as Senior Vice President, UPM Plywood, since 2011. Mika Sillanpää has been appointed Senior Vice President, UPM Plywood as of 2 May 2013. He will be based in Lahti and reports to Jussi Vanhanen, President, Engineered Materials. Mika is currently working as Vice President, Sourcing for UPM Engineered Materials.
